The show is even able to throw meta references into dialogue, with characters speaking song lines from seasons ago or perhaps the biggest change this season- Greg’s actor replacement, Greg returns this time portrayed by Skylar Astin (who does a fantastic job) and Rebecca and co waste no time in pointing out that Greg is like “a completely different person” or “he’s completely different”with Rebecca not even recognizing him at first.
